Summer holidays are over. Back on track in Brno.
All three classes (125, 250 and MotoGP) returned to action at the undulating Czech Republic track. Nestled in the woodlands of Brno, it was a tale of two tyre manufacturers as all the Michelin riders endured a shocking weekend with their tyre selections proving to be woefully inadequate for the newly surfaced track.
The Tech 3 pairing of Toseland and Edwards struggling all weekend unable to capitalise on their upgraded engines from Yamaha over the summer break. As usual the main event was the continuation of the battle between Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner after their war of words in Laguna Seca. Once again, the Doctor came out on top with Stoner making an uncharacteristic only a handful of laps into the race.
